Welcome to ELY+!

This is the online photography portfolio of ELY+ Photography. Alongside with the launching of this site as you can see, is the renaming of my photography brand, from Shots By Ely to ELY+ Photography.

It all started when I created a Facebook page almost 3 years ago which was first named as Ely Quiros where I posted my photos. I wanted to share my passion for photography and the art that I make with photographs. After almost a year, I thought of giving a name to my photography. I wanted my photography to have a signature. Then I came up with Shots By Ely. For the past 2 years it became my brand. It was just last year, 2019, where I started to gain profit from doing what I love. During the same year, I've been sketching and trying to come up with a logo. I tried different apps to make one too until I was able to sketch and make the logo I use now. Also at the process of starting this brand I felt like the name Shots By Ely sounded more of a signature or title rather than I name. After reflecting, I came up with ELY+ Photography. It felt more of a brand and #ShotsByEly will remain as my signature.

The meaning of my brand is ELY as my name and + that represents the center of the viewfinder and for me, the focus which is the passion for photography. In the logo, it also shows the shape of the focus in cameras with its 3 corners spelled out with the brand name.
